How a Sentinel decision is made

A fast, deterministic engine scores and ranks every candidate first. An AI committee adds a deeper second opinion — on demand, and as an automatic check before any trade — and deterministic risk gates always have the final word.

OpenAIClaudeGemini

OpenAI, Claude, and Gemini are supported server-side when enabled by your operator. One active provider at a time — advisory only.

Your watchlist
Find candidatesDefault

Calculate Map

Scores your whole watchlist with a fast deterministic engine — momentum, volatility, trend. No AI, seconds.

Deeper, optionalOptional

Run Research

Convenes the 11-role AI committee on one symbol for a deeper, reasoned second opinion you can import.

Ranked plan → you accept

Ranked candidates with entry, stop, and target, sized to your risk. Nothing is live until you accept.

Every ~30s

Armed loop

Re-checks each accepted candidate plus a quick committee gut-check — it can only shrink size or ask you to confirm, never make a trade riskier.

Final word

Deterministic risk gates

Spread, exposure, session, market regime, and risk limits — checked every time, no exceptions.

Guarded dispatch → MT5

Signed, guarded broker commands through your local Bridge, filled at the local MT5 price at execution time — never a raw, unchecked market order.

After you're in

Supervisor watches every open position

Re-scores the trade thesis on a short cycle. When you've armed it to act, it can only tighten a stop or close a fading position — never open one, never add risk. Otherwise it flags what changed and leaves the call to you.

Deterministic-first, AI-assisted, gate-final. Removal is automatic — addition is human.

11-specialist AI committee

11 independent analyst roles, reasoning on your operator’s one active frontier model (OpenAI, Claude, or Gemini).

What surrounds the decision

The diagram above is how a decision gets made. This is how you connect, what stops the machine, and what it writes down.

Connecting

Connect your account — your MT5 credentials never leave your machine

Setup is a one-time pairing, not an integration project. Today you connect by running the local Sentinel Bridge next to MetaTrader on your own machine: Sentinel never asks for your MT5 password, and those credentials never leave your machine. A hosted connection that needs no local install is planned; the local Bridge stays as the privacy option.

The Bridge token does not contain your MT5 password and does not give Sentinel access to your MetaTrader login credentials.

One control stands the account down

Emergency stop is per broker account and needs no special setup: turn it on and every automatic path refuses to dispatch, with the reason and the actor written to the audit log.

Losing days automatically shrink the machine

A drawdown governor tracks each account's session peak. Past the threshold it halves position size and raises the score a candidate has to clear. It is one-directional by construction — it can only make trades smaller or harder to take, never larger.

Every decision leaves a receipt you can re-open

Decisions, gate blocks, broker commands, and Supervisor thesis verdicts are written to a hash-chained audit log — each entry sealed against the one before it, so an edited history is detectable rather than a matter of trust.

One shared code path for practice and real money

Every risk gate that runs on practice runs on real money too — one shared code path, not two implementations. A parity test covers a defined matrix of risk gates across all four execution paths and fails when any path carries a weaker gate than another. Where real and practice differ deliberately — real spreads are genuinely wider, so the real-account spread ceiling has a floor — the effective value is shown on your configuration page.

On a real account, automatic closing stays locked by default

Automatic opening runs inside your account's limits. Automatic close and modify ship switched off and need an explicit per-account unlock, and a stop-loss modify is tighten-only by construction — there is no setting that lets it widen your protection.

Frequently asked questions

Do you need my MT5 password?

No. Your MT5 password stays on your machine inside MetaTrader. Sentinel uses a limited Bridge token to connect the app to your Sentinel account only.

What is the Bridge token?

A secure token created after you sign in to Sentinel. It links your local Bridge to your account. It does not contain your MT5 password and does not let Sentinel log into MetaTrader.

Can Sentinel guarantee profit?

No. Trading involves risk. Sentinel provides decision support and risk planning, but it does not guarantee financial outcomes and is not personalized investment advice.

Can it trade on a live account?

Yes. The same account-scoped Automatic Trading control supports demo execution and protected real-account opening when the account, limits, Bridge, and deterministic gates are ready. Automatic real close and modify are not available.

Which AI providers are supported?

When enabled by your operator, Sentinel supports OpenAI, Claude, and Gemini server-side. AI output is advisory only — deterministic gates control execution.
